Why I do what I do…

  • Being a barrister allows me to steer my practice towards areas of law that I love and am truly passionate about.
  • I love the independence of the bar, in being my own boss and bringing my own perspective into the matter.
  • Barristers sit in a unique position between solicitors/clients and judges. It allows me to see the legal profession from a more complete perspective.

When I’m not in court…

  • Yoga is great to get me out of my head and into my body. I enjoy hot vinyasa, as well as running and tennis.
  • I love hanging out with my partner and kids. I have two, a girl and a boy, and they’re very much yin and yang.
  • Film is something I really love. I worked in an arthouse cinema as a student and I’m doing some filmmaking courses.
